FCM is Now Accepting Funding Applications for Green Projects
FCM is accepting new applications for capital projects in the energy, transportation, waste and water sectors, as well as for plans, feasibility studies and field tests as of December 1, 2011. An updated GMF application form is now available online, along with new support tools for applicants.

The new selection process for capital projects in the above sectors is designed to enable FCM to continue accepting new applications year-round and to ensure that the best projects are approved regardless of when the application is submitted.

A Natural Resources Canada Funding Opportunity
Natural Resources Canada has developed an ecoENERGY Innovation Initiative to fund various projects dealing with:

• Energy efficiency
• Clean electricity and renewables 
• Bioenergy 
• Electrification of transportation 
• Unconventional oil and gas
  

Municipal governments are eligible applicants to the call for letters of expression of interest for demonstration and research & development projects
