LED STREETLIGHT INCENTIVE NO LONG AVAILABLE FROM EFFICIENCY NOVA SCOTIA

Unfortunately, because offering incentives for LED streetlights is no longer economically viable for Efficiency Nova Scotia, it is no longer able to provide them.

Comfit Announcements

At this time, the Department of Energy COMFIT Team would like to provide direction regarding new applications to the Community Feed-In Tariff Program (COMFIT).

Due to the backlog of applications, all new applications will be held while the Department continues to work through the applications received to date.  However, once the backlog is reduced, all new applications will be processed in the order they were received.

The Department of Energy COMFIT Team has made the following updates to their website:

• A new "COMFIT Progress" page with a snapshot look at program progress to date
• A new "About COMFIT" page, featuring a three-page program description, a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs), and video clips discussing the program from the Department of Energy and community perspective.
• A new "COMFIT Approvals" page, where you can see projects as they are approved. In the future, you will be able to monitor COMFIT projects' statuses through different stages of development.
